Weight Loss: A Comprehensive Guide

Stay fit by shedding some pounds

The body is made up of bones, organs, muscles, fat, and water. Bodyweight is therefore the addition of all these elements. Weight loss, as such, is not just a matter of losing pounds on your scale. Losing weight, or losing weight, is a process where one reduces the amount of body fat, and also of subcutaneous water in the event of water retention. We are now going to answer the famous question; “How to lose weight?” We have a comprehensive weight loss guide just prepared for you.

To lose weight, you must burn fat
Losing weight inevitably involves reducing our fat tissue. The stored fats are not only looks unpleasant but also harmful to health. The more our fat level increases, the more diseases associated with overweight develops cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, autoimmune diseases, not to mention the joint problems that overweight people systematically encounter. To avoid knee and hip prostheses and heavy treatments linked to chronic diseases, burning fat is very essential.

How to burn fat?

Food
Food is the main culprit of being overweight. So, to lose your weight you have to balance your diet first:

  • You have to consume at least 1g of protein per kg of your body weight
  • Limit yourself to 1g of carbohydrates per kg of body weight
  • Consume 1g of lipids per kg of body weight
  • At least 3 liters of fluid intake per day
  • Consume fiber at least two meals each day

Eat at least 3 meals a day, and if possible 4. Each of these meals should consist of a serving of protein, low glycemic index carbohydrates, fiber, and good fats. If you manage to maintain this ratio, you will lose weight quickly without going hungry.

Play sports
Exercise and physical activity strengthen muscles, improve mood, and regulate energy needs. It is not uncommon to see great athletes allow themselves some deviations without having any repercussions on their fat mass rate, as muscular effort costs the body energy. Depending on your specifics, your desires, and your schedule, some sports will be more effective than others. But the main success factor is motivation, so the desire to get started. Put the odds on your side by choosing a sport that you want to practice regularly.

Know how to distinguish hunger from the urge to eat
Hunger and the desire to eat are two different signals. We are hungry when the body lacks energy, and the supply of macronutrients becomes essential. We want to eat when we are looking for a flavor, taste, or texture that is appetizing for us. And it is this urge to eat that undermines most slimming diets. Even if the meal is sufficiently satisfying, it is the desire to eat something else (or better?) That pushes us to crack.

The main factor in the success of a diet is to manage to “pass the course” and get used to eating less fatty, less sweet, and less salty foods. And replace them with fresh products you cooked. It usually takes 2 to 4 weeks before the addiction to sweet, salty, and fatty flavors disappear. In the meantime, there are certain food supplements containing 5-HTP (Hydroxytryptophan) which can limit cravings for sugar.

Food supplements
Once the diet is in place and you have found your physical activity of choice, you can accelerate the
process of weight loss, or at least optimize it, through certain dietary supplements for weight loss,
especially fat burners. Conjugated Linoleic Acid (CLA), l-Carnitine, green tea, caffeine, or guarana are
excellent fat burners. They work by stimulating the metabolism, reducing hunger, and promoting the use
of fat as an energy source.
